Cocktails and brunch on the menu as Foresters Arms reopens in time for summer

Foresters Arms
The Foresters Arms on Union Street will remain closed for the time being

After being closed for six months, the Foresters Arms pub will reopen in mid June with a new landlady behind the bar.

Keshell Pamphille began her career with Wells & Co. as a pot washer in The Park pub on Kimbolton Road. Nine years on and with plenty of experience under her belt, Keshell will be reopening the Union Street pub in time for summer.

The pub will reopen with a focus on cocktails, lunchtime offers, a new menu and a programme of events throughout the summer.

Keshell is the founder of Liquid Mobile Bars, a hireable bar company that has been featured on TV programmes including The Only Way is Essex and This Morning.

The pub’s weekend brunch will return, making the Foresters the perfect hangout in town for a lazy Sunday morning.

Regular events planned include music bingo, coffee mornings, live music and midweek happy hours.

The pub opens in mid June, just in time for the Summer with a beer garden boasting over 50 covers.

“I am so excited to invite you all down to the reopening of The Foresters Arms in Bedford to enjoy some of our incredible drinks, soak in the atmosphere and create some of the best memories,” said Keshell.

The pub will be opening seven days a week.

Edit at 09:32 on 9/6/22: The article has been amended to change to opening date from ‘9 June’ to ‘mid June’.

Now more than ever, we need your help to fund the Bedford Independent’s quality journalism that serves our community…

We choose to champion editorial independence, meaning we report the facts without bias and can stand up to those in power when we believe it’s needed.

We can give a voice to people in our community whose voices may otherwise not be heard. And we don’t have a paywall, so everyone can read the stories we publish for free.

But in this time of crisis, many news organisations all over the world are facing existential threat, with advertising revenues plummeting. We’re no different.

We work hard every day to bring you news, commentary, entertainment and announcements from across Bedford. We hope that, with your help, we’ll be able to continue this for many years to come.
