Married at First Sight UK 2022 lineup
Adrian, 37, is a digital designer from Manchester. A “confident and caring northerner with a heart of gold”, Adrian is a creative person who expresses himself through fashion.
He hasn’t had the best experience with relationships, because he believes people take advantage of his nice guy persona.
But after being a serial dater for three years, Adrian is ready to settle down with an “upbeat and positive partner who’ll make him laugh, be up for an adventure and, most importantly, be someone he can trust”.
Duka is a 31-year-old recruitment HR coordinator from Birmingham. He has lived in the UK since he was 10 after his family fled the former Yugoslavia to escape conflict.
Duka’s struggles growing up mean he “finds it difficult to let people in and puts up his guard when people start to get close emotionally”.
However, he’s a “man about town” and says “women fall at his feet”, although he says he goes for “superficial” girls and “gets bored of them easily”.
He’s looking for an “Instagram girl” who can also “have a deep conversation about world issues”.
George, 40, is a financial adviser from Worcester. He’s a dedicated father of four children who has struggled to find “that special someone” after his divorce.
George is “a true and old-fashioned romantic and was heartbroken when his relationship with his wife broke down”.
He wants “someone who excites him, someone to keep him on his toes and who can be open emotionally”.
Jordan is a 29-year-old account manager from Darlington. He’s a “fun, outgoing guy with a massive sense of adventure”.
He says he’s “a great catch” because he owns his home, has a great job, is close to his family and does all his own cooking.
When it comes to relationships, “he is not willing to settle with someone and cruise through life for the sake of being comfortable”. Instead, Jordan wants to find true love and a real connection.
He thinks he’s single because he’s “too particular about what he wants” and “knows he needs to relax and give girls more of a chance”.
Forty-two-year-old Kwame is a “confident and sophisticated” business consultant from London.
He’s travelled extensively and has built a successful career, and has had children.
A “self-professed ladies man”, Kwame says although he’s “a bit cocky”, he’s also “a nice guy and not arrogant”.
The Mr Ghana winner 2000 is “a successful bachelor who wants another chance at finding love”.
Pjay is a 31-year-old dancer and performer from Birmingham, who’s part of the world-famous Dreamboys.
Although he’s “never been short of attention”, he “can’t seem to find the right person that he wants to settle down with”.
Pjay’s job has been a barrier to finding the right woman, as his ex-partners have struggled with trust.
He says his mum and his sister are his best friends, and says his future wife will need his mum’s seal of approval.
Richie, 51, is a sales adviser from Sheffield. He worked in the music industry for 23 years and wrote a song that was on a Russell Watson album.
He considers himself to be “deep, emotional, a good laugh, clever and socially and emotionally intelligent”.
Thomas, 31, is a mental health care assistant from Liverpool who’s “bursting with energy, sarcasm, and bawdy humour”.
He’s also “extremely sociable, unapologetically loud, and not one to back down in an argument”.
But Thomas is looking for a partner “to help balance him out”.
Thirty-two-year-old April, from London, is a wedding dress designer, whose friends describe her as “always the bridal designer, never the bride”.
She considers herself to be “the most driven and ambitious person she knows”, as well as “a positive, bubbly sociable butterfly”.
April is looking for “someone who won’t mind her being independent and who wants to live life to its fullest with her.”
Chanita is a 29-year-old “caring, loyal and protective” social worker from Derby.
She has dedicated her life to her job and makes friends wherever she goes, with many people considering her to be their best friend.
Following the end of a one-year relationship two years ago, Chanita is now ready to meet her future partner.
Her ambition is to “be happily married with a family and a stable home”, alongside helping people through her work.
Jenna, 32, is a zero waste shop owner from Blackpool. She hates the traditional concept of marriage, but “wants to find love, commit to someone and build a long life together”.
Thirty-one-year-old Jess is a dental hygienist from Cambridgeshire, who would describe herself as “unique, weird, but extremely fun and outgoing”.
Jess believes she is single because “jumping into something quickly does get her in trouble sometimes”, and she “has a habit of moving fast in relationships and tends to skip the ‘dating’ bit”.
Kasia is a 36-year-old businesswoman from London, who with “sheer graft and determination” has managed to raise two children and launch a “successful body contouring clinic”.
Now, she’s ready to “focus on herself and (hopefully) meet a partner that she can settle down with forever”.
“Despite being the boss at work”, Kasia is looking for “a man who can take the lead, but shares the same drive and passion that she does”.
Lara is a 49-year-old waitress from Nottingham. Originally from Canada, Lara used to be a dancer who led a luxurious life.
She has been married and divorced twice but has been single for 12 years. Lara considers her parents to be her relationship role models, as they’ve been married for 51 years, and are best friends.
Lara “finds herself trying to force every relationship she has to be like theirs, often letting red flags slide to try and make the relationship work”.
Thirty-one-year-old Whitney is a “fun, confident and sexy” PA from St Albans. She isn’t short of male attention but has yet to find someone who can tick all the boxes.
Whitney has “such high expectations for her potential partner and worries she’ll never actually let anyone in” and is worried she’ll end up 50 and single.
But she’s “ready to give someone a chance, and thinks that putting the responsibility of finding her partner into the experts’ hands might be her only solution”.
Zoe is a 30-year-old quantity surveyor from the West Midlands. She’s “outgoing, ambitious and a successful professional”, who describes herself as “dominant and assertive”.
She’s no longer interested in being a serial dater and is instead looking for “a genuine connection, someone she can share her softer, more intimate side with”.
