Transfer news LIVE! Chelsea FC consider Skriniar; Ronaldo talks; Kounde latest; Gakpo to Arsenal; Spurs gossip

Chelsea are facing summer window deja vu as Barcelona look to swoop in and sign long-time target Jules Kounde from Sevilla. Having seen Raphinha snub their advances for a move to Camp Nou, it’s looking increasingly likely that the defender will do the same. Milan Skriniar is one potential alternative option, though PSG are also keen.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been the busier teams on the market, signing five and six new players respectively and are enjoying strong pre-season campaigns ahead of the new Premier League season starting next week. Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has hinted at further new additions, with winger Cody Gakpo a potential target. Tottenham, meanwhile, have extended the contracts of Ben Davies and Troy Parrott, and are linked with Memphis Depay.

West Ham have agreed personal terms with Gianluca Scamacca, who will now fly to London for a medical, though David Moyes have dropped his interest in Chelsea striker Armando Broja. Fulham remain keen on Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno, while Cristiano Ronaldo is flying back to England for talks and the Frenkie de Jong to Manchester United saga rumbles on. Sanchez thinks big

Alexis Sanchez is dreaming of a return to Barcelona.
