Sunak ‘to spend day in talks with advisers’ after tricky election campaign start

Rishi Sunak is set to spend Saturday at home and hold talks his closest advisers after a faltering start to his election campaign, it has been reported.

The prime minister will retreat from the campaign trail and spend the day at his constituency home and London, according to The Guardian.

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer will focus on the cost of living crisis during a visit to the West Midlands.
