Sunak under pressure as ministers meet to discuss Post Office scandal

Rishi Sunak said on Sunday that the Government was examining ways to speed up the process, following backlash over what has been described as one of the worst miscarriages of justice in British history.

The news comes as a petition calling for former Post Office boss Paula Vennells to lose her CBE over the Horizon scandal has attracted more than one million signatures. On Thursday, Mr Sunak and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer resisted to back calls for Ms Vennells to lose her CBE.
